Many newer factory car stereos are now coming packed with more and more features and finding compatible dash kits can be difficult. Many factory stereos now come with large touchscreens, hands-free Bluetooth, and even in some cases Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. These features are great until you start adding aftermarket amplifiers, speakers, and subwoofers. NVX X-Series line output converters allow you to keep your factory car stereo and upgrade the other pieces in your system without having any sort of loss in audio quality or distortion.
Provide the Best Input Signal to your Amplifier
Compared to a basic line-out converter, the preamp output voltage on X-Series LOCs is exponentially higher. This output will give you multiple benefits such as sending a clearer, less distorted signal to your amplifier. Also, you will be much less likely to amplify unwanted noise and you can set the gain on your amplifier much lower due to the higher quality signal coming through the RCAs.

Works as intended, not a lc7i by no means but works fantastic definitely can handle high input volume voltage.

So the only reason I gave this product 4 stars is because of the inconsistencies with NVX. The product’s pictures that are represented tend to not be accurate. On this model, XLOC24 you can pull power from either the remote or the 12v. I was scratching my head for a while wondering how it was on without a 12v lead. Also, although shown in the picture there is no notch to manage them so it’s dealer’s choice. Second is that no I did not receive a bass knob, some individuals did, however that’s easily dismissible.Now the actual product does work well as intended. It produces a high enough gauge to manage a proper frequency output, and the ground iso does work well. The only thing that does concern is that I wasn’t actually able to get a “clip†off of the device for a proper tune, but that’s fine. All in all not a shabby little LOC.

So if you are like me and have a newer vehicle and are frustrated chasing down and alternator hum in your audio system this could be the fix. I had been using a kicker passive LOC due to its high praise on YouTube for audio quality. Unfortunately for me it left me with an annoying alternator hum that I could not get rid no matter what I did and I spent weeks rerouting speaker and ground wires, returning & replacing loc's, returning and exchanging amp, buying multiple ground loop isolators. This LOC has a ISO ground option which they recommend to use when your head unit and your amplifier are not grounded to the same location. I wish they would advertise this feature as I think this would solve a lot of people's headaches trying to find a solution. Other than that I do have to mention that I had to return the first unit I received as it would not turn off even if a remote wire was not plugged in meaning there was some sort of internal short. The second unit I got worked flawlessly although I will say both units had their speaker terminal screws in super tight. I literally broke the screwdriver they provided trying to untighten them. Other than that it does what it's supposed to and I am extremely happy with the results.

Had to order a replacement as the first one didn't work at all. Then setting up the second was very difficult because the instructions are very vague.

I bought this to put a system in my wife's new car. With today's vehicles the factory radios are very nice and have a lot of features that are user friendly. NO sence in using an after market radio with the easy to install LOC from NVX. Worked great for my application and have recommended this to others.
