This sanding wheel kit has a nice assortment of pads for 3", good array of grits from 80 to 3000 for a wide variety of sanding to polishing tasks.The 2" and its related bits are a bit more disappointing, in that it has a much more limited sanding selection included. The 2" pads are very limited grit range: 1500, 2000, and 3000.There are several shanks included, and adapters to use them with both pads, the "trueness" of the pads is a little wobbly, decent, but definitely "budget" quality level. For polishing and general sanding tasks, they're pretty good, if you wanted to make a precision edging tool using these, you'd probably want something a bit more accurate. For a starter set or a once-in-a-while project, a good start.

This NYXCL kit is an excellent option for the DIY small project fabricator or creative crafter. Â The kit includes the wide range of grit count sanding discs and multiple shaft options for the disc sponges. Â I had to chuckle because the lock nut was 7/16 and not the 10mm I expected. Â Yesterday I was restoring an old specialty hammer that was rusted pretty badly. Â With multiple progression grits discs, this old tool left to rust away is transforming to a glowing new hammer. Â The progress photo is after using four discs 120 to 400; there is still work to be done. Â The performance and durability of these discs has been excellent. Â All of this work was completed using a cordless drill. Â Another consideration was the 1000, 2000, and 3000 grit discs can be used to polish headlight lenses. Â (Several restoration kits include these discs with their polish products) Â For the price, this is a great value and excellent addition to the tool cabinet. Â Highly recommend the NYXCL kit.

These work pretty good. I tried them out using my die grinder, a corded drill, and a cordless drill. I have to say they work the best in the die grinder and the corded drill. The cordless drill is just too slow. I would say be careful not to turn them too fast as the paper can come flying off with excessive rpm. I like them, they are going to be handy for small dent repairs when you only need to sand a small area. The smaller diameter size is much easier to get into small dips that a larger da or palm sander just can't get into. It sure beats hand sanding in those tight spots.

A lot of novices, like myself, are very new to the various grits of sandpaper. Until I decided to paing my porch, I thought sandpaper was one type of thing. The variety in this pack lets me remove paint and just smooth down a few nail heads I missed. The discs fit my hand sander very well without trimming. The fit is snug and worked on the first try. I am very pleased.
