One of the USB ports in my truck stopped working. The dealership wanted a ridiculous amount of money for the part (double what this one cost on Amazon) and even more to install. Figured I could do it myself after watching a YouTube video. It was easy to install (and I’m a 58-year-old woman who is definitely not any sort of mechanic). Piece of cake to install and has worked perfectly for several months now.

Purchased this for a 2017 Ford F150. My USB hubs were loose, and worn out, which caused the connection to intermittently cut out. Installed this one, which was a direct replacement, and it fit and works perfectly now. No issues now as the USB sockets are tight and more secure. As one reviewer noted, you will need a trim removal tool, ideally metal, to pop the old one out. Not much length on the two wires that are connected to it, once you get it out, but it can be done rather easily. Would highly recommend.

Talk about amazing. I was doordashing and spilled some coke in the outlet and it took my USB port out on my 2020 Ford Fusion SEL. With the help of Howes radio in Richmond va it took 20 mins to switch out the part. 10/10 recommend this part.

This worked in my 2016 F150 XLT. Along with the Sync 3 update I now have working car play. the size of this hub was wrong for my truck but I was able to carefully pull the guts out of the new one and install into the original piece. Just took a few plastic tabs to release the two halves of the hub.

Ordered the USB HUB module to enable Carplay. After installing the HUB, charging no longer worked on any type of device. Reinstalled the original hub - and charging returned (Carplay still did not work - as expected). Returned the item tp Rob Baker Ford and was charged a 100% restocking fee (no details as to why) for a defective product. The Part was an OEM product in OEM packaging and returned in the same packaging. If you receive a working part - then probably no issues, but if you have any issues with the part - expect to pay for a non working part. It fit my truck like a charm, glad to get my apple car play back. Apparently I must have dropped some drink on the original I had, and this fit right in and was exactly like the original. It seems to work well, however the price seems a bit high, but it seemed like a hard part to find. Anyway, the first one I bought was definitely used so I returned it, then got a replacement and was night and day difference and it works well.
