Worked great on my 2019 Ultra Limited, easy plug n play. I traded in my Harley for a 2021 CVO Ultra Limited and connections are different. Will not work. After some trial and error and research the 2021 CVO does not need anything if you have a Bluetooth helmet.

Having recently had issues attempting to install my own bars and heated grips, my confidence was low going into this. I had a rattle on the right side of my fairing I was investigating and decided to see if this adapter I’ve had for 10 months was worth the effort.Seemed simple enough, fairing was off, just remove the dust cover and plug it into the unused beige connector behind my radio.I was sure it was going to blow a fuse, or immediately light my bike on fire. I turned my ignition switch on, everything looked good.I plug my phone into the usb adapter, and what’s this? A CarPlay icon!?Turn my bike on, and it’s all working, first try, no issues!Just like in my Silverado.If in fact, my bike does blow up, I’ll post a follow up. But for now, this seems like a rare occurrence that a cheap and easy “hack†actually works.10/10, best $10 you will spend on your bike.

The Rufus will tell you this is only for car play. It works for Android Auto installed on Harley Davidson street glide with boom box.

Super simple to install, but it didn’t work. No instructions. 30 YouTube videos later someone finally said turn screen projection on. Boom! It works.

I installed this on my Road Glide and it worked perfectly to allow me to run wireless Android Auto. The installation was simple (should take about 30 minutes start to finish), and this was my first time removing the fairing on my bike. It does help if you have a vehicle trim removal kit to remove the panel that the plug sits behind, but I think it should be easy enough to get to even without doing that. I did it because I was also changing out my headlight.
