So I gave this product four stars, only due to manufacturing issue I have personally that really doesn't impact the product but can definitely be improved on. I will start off with the good, and then get into I guess the bad but not remotely terrible, minor minute details, like I said can be improved on.I got this product because I am a gamer, and like most sit in my gaming chair for long periods of time above I'm sure average adult does. The chair I own is 2020 Secret Labs chair, and during this stage of development the company had not created a more ergonomic or comfortable armrest like the newer 2023 models, that now have an option (though don't ship to May) memory foam arm rests. When I first saw those I figured one waiting to May isn't ideal, and two they were only compatible with the newer model chair and not the older model so that presented to me the solution of Amazon shopping.I cam across these, because they are fairly priced and the manufacturing symbol actually matches my chair (which is Cloud 9 team chair). So perfect, I received the item yesterday and let me tell you they are great. The memory foam as just enough firmness, and give as well as a soft outside cover. I play with a controller so my rests are always angled inward and my elbows rest on them. This product was definitely worth it, and I can see myself having these for a very long time.Now the only issue I have, is that both cushions have different length straps, so one pad is longer than the other, for whatever odd reason. It's like whomever put these together, or whatever machine did had not measured out the lengths. It's definitely not a hinderance since you can fold them in on themselves, and tuck them away. But it is annoying because they don't stick to themselves perfectly. The other improvement would to make these a little longer, because some armrests are longer than others and sometimes we shift our elbows back and forth, it's probably a half an inch on either side shorter than my armrests are but also being longer, they can at least strap flat against the bottom part of the arm rest.In conclusion, I would recommend this product. Especially for gaming chairs, and long hours in front of a computer or monitor, even if your job requires you to sit at a computer all day. That would be square. Gaming chairs do offer different positions of the arm rest and a button that will slide it back and forth and angle it inside which makes these great because they're strapped so you have full access.

Comfy on my elbows and it doesn't move around.The mesh is soft and doesn't feel rough on my elbows if I wear short-sleeved shirts (I wear sweaters most of the time, so it won't bother me. I also did an elbow rub test a few times to make sure). I saw complaints about the Velcro sticking to clothes and I don't see any issues. If you have the label facing towards your desk with the straps facing outward, you shouldn't have any problems. No complaints here!

The pads themselves are great. Good cushion on my elbows, stays put (for the most part, I do have to readjust from time to time), but the straps holding them to the armrests are specifically designed so that the velcro faces out. There is no way around this.Some parts of the velcro WILL be exposed and it WILL catch onto your clothing. It's caused quite a bit of pilling on sweaters and fleece jackets as a result. Be warned!

These are really good quality and very comfortable. Others i have tried were too thin, didn't stay in place or were of poor quality. Unfortunately I sit in an office chair in front of a keyboard all day and the hard armrests of my chair were causing tendonitis in my elbow. In the weeks since I have been using these over the arm rests the tendonitis has disappeared. I like them so much I modified another set to fit in the captains chairs in my van.

These are very nice, well padded cushions for the chair arms. I expected them to fit over the existing arms and that is the reason for my four-star review. The cushions sit on top of the existing arms and have velcro straps to afix them. Other than that, they are very comfortable.

These arm pads are exactly what I needed. I love everything about my office chair with one exception...the arms are not padded. It can be uncomfortable on my elbows. I have a wfm job and comfort is key with any chair. These pads are thick and should do well for anyone. I think they have a cooling gel in them...or at least that's what it feels like. They come with long velcro straps to secure them into place. If you need to, you can cut off the excess strap. HIGHLY RECCOMEND
