Chair very easy to assemble. Tool kit comes with necessary wrench and simple directions. This chair is comfortable.but it is not a large chair. It is smaller than I would like, arms short and seat depth shallow. Definitely not for a tall or large person.

I really hoped I would like this chair. And there are things I do like about it. The seat is nice and large, which is great for me, a larger person, who does not know how to sit in chairs correctly. The base is also nice and wide, which means it's less likely to tip when I sit in it incorrectly.But...the cushion is thin and doesn't offer any support. The back also offers little support. I'm buying an additional cushion in hopes that it will stop hurting the backs of my thighs and my back. It's amazing how little cushioning this chair actually has. I'm thoroughly disappointed with that, and really that alone. Otherwise it would be an amazing chair.EDIT: At about two months I noticed a few little tiny holes in one of the arm rests. I thought at first that one of my cats had scratched it. But it turns out there are some sharp pins or staples or something under the material on the arm rests. Over time, they have started poking through and now I can't rest my arm on that side because it will scratch me. I am very disappointed by how much I spent on this chair for it to be this uncomfortable and poor quality.EDIT 2: Well, if I could take away my single star, I would. Not only are there more pins poking out from the arms, but now it won't stay up. I am well below its weight limit, or I'd think it was that. Nope. Within about 30 minutes of sitting down, the height goes from all the way up to all the way down. The padding seems even flatter now, too. This is the most uncomfortable chair I've ever owned and $200 I wish I hadn't wasted.

This chair has been great for our home office. The height adjustment bar also has a back tilt option, which has been a lifesaver for someone who has had hip joint pain and needs this option to sit comfortably.

Straight backCONs: Arms are to short, only support the elbows Seat does not provide full leg support Tilt tension will not release enough to lean back easily (requires considerable force). Although the "Air Rod" is capable of supporting a person of up to 400 pounds a person in the 250 pound range is going to find the chair very small.SUMMARY: It is a nice looking chair suitable for a person of less than 200 pounds. Smaller family members liked the chair very much. Big and Tall family members all found the chair to be small. In this sense the ad is very misleading and the tilt tension is a deal breaker

This chair really looks great in my home office. It arrived with clear instructions. making the assembly process easy. For me, it is quite comfortable with easy adjustments. It would be a great value at twice the price.

Purchased this chair for my husband, very happy with the chair, easy to put together, very high quality and well suited to a heavy set person. Hoping this chair will last given it's weight rating we do not anticipate any issues. So far, would recommend to others needing a solid well built chair at a great price.
