I got this chair mat for my son's room to protect the hardwood floors under his computer chair. He loves how the color matches his room decor, and the chair rolls smoothly on it. However, it didn’t lay completely flat out of the package due to creases from being folded during shipment. I’ll try placing it in the dryer to help smooth it out, but other than that, it does its job of protecting the floors.

Note all the comments about "doesn't lay flat, has wrinkles".At this point, I relied on my Elite military skills of using the household iron. "You best be prepared for inspection".High steam setting. Accomplishes the obvious, and at the same time helps the rug/mat adhere to the floor. The backing on this item is there for a reason. The iron accomplishes this task very well. The appearance and pattern are spot on for my purpose. The only reason the 5th golden star was not presented is that the item has yet to pass the test of time. Will advise. Buy an iron.

large enough to fit under a desk and have sufficient room for you chair to move. The Sticky backside works as described. The design is not the best but overall all easy to clean, stays in place and protects my hard wood floors.

Looks good, but is packaged up folded in a way that leaves creases when unpacked. I assume it will lay flat eventually, but it's annoying to have folds in the mat for now.

Lays flat. I have it on a hardwood floor under an office chair and used some carpet tape to keep it down on two of the corners

My office chair rolls easily across this mat and it looks nice in my office. Taking off one star because the “black and grey” colour is very much a dark blue and not a deep black. I bought this colour to match my office but it doesn’t really go with the colour scheme. The mat came folded so there are creases but I’m sure eventually they will flatten out.
