We just purchased a very large pot to cook French fries, and onion rings from scratch. This is something that we used to do when I was growing up so it really means a lot to be able to do this with my family that I created. So many wonderful memories.When you cook in oil, like for French fries, you don’t want to throw out the oil each time. This is just too expensive. The best thing to do is to strain your oil through the metal strainer that is included with this pot. Then you put the lid on until the next time that you will be cooking foods in hot oil.The 4 quart size means that it is big enough so that we can use it for big gatherings, or small gatherings. It doesn’t matter, this pot with the strainer and lid that fit’s snuggly tight. And I can tell you from experience, this is a great strainer, and oil/grease holder. It’s super easy to use, and super sturdy. Just what you need if its main purpose is to hold oil/grease. And to top it off, it looks nice. Not sloppy and like this was an afterthought. The price is incredibly fair.

I love this container. It is very well constructed and works precisely as it should. I had been pouring the oil from my deep fryer into quart-sized jars which was messy and required multiple jars. This container strains and holds all the oil, and not a drip makes its way onto my kitchen counter. I'm buying a second one as a gift for a family member.

Keeps oil clean and prolongs use. No "old" oil tasting flavor on foods. We don't fry a lot so when we do oils stays fresh. I ordered a second one for seafoods.

I like it because it's large enough to hold a gallon of oil.i was told it would be delivered between 4-8am, didn't receive until 10:50.i would not of mind this time had they not said it would be delivered between stated time.but I actually got up at 3:45 because of the porch pirates,and it's not like I requested the time,it's what they gave me,and according to the tracking,the driver was definitely in my area.they really should cancel these early hr delivery.other than that it's a great purchase,easy to clean.

Mantiene el aceite en su lugar y es fácil de limpiar, luce bastante ben después de un tiempo de uso y la cocina se ve perfectamente arreglada aún cuando este objeto se encuentra a la vista. La recomiendo mucho.
