Some reviewers have complained that it's left handed. That would be intentional, because most people will be holding the heavy pot in their right hand. It could be used the other way. Of course, the two handled one requires both hands, and it works perfectly on a two handled pot. Great designs on both, well made, and very handy.

Great product , great size , easy to store , easy to clean I use mine for draining oil after cooking meats does a great job with staining the oil out without losing and of the meat and without burning myself.

My old strainer (like these, but plastic) my husband always melts.These are great, as they are metal, and don't melt when pressed against a hot pan!If something goes wrong with them in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to buy more!

I'm amazed at the strainer's ability to drain water from cooked product, it works great with poached eggs. However, the holes are polished on one side, sharp on the other and the handled one is left handed. Wife complained that it did tear her hand towel while drying, and using a scrubber pad it kept catching on the hole shards. Pat dry, use a bottle brush for hole cleaning. Otherwise, stainless steel is well done, strainer holes are perfect size for all foods.

Useful to not dirty extra dishes, when it’s not needed. Bought this for my parents’ anniversary. I’ve since used it and am jealous that I don’t have one myself.

These are so very handy and you don't have to worry about what is in your pot spilling into the sink when you are trying to drain the water. Replaced a very old one with these and absolutely love them. So much safer to use. A ideal gift for the friend that has everything!
