Definitely a quality press. It crushes cloves with power, no access garlic comes back out through the sides, amazingly easy to clean, doesn't chip nor stain. A big drawback is that the handles don't have good grip, the smooth shiny coating and rounded shape makes them slippery, especially if your hands are a bit wet while cooking. Not a deal breaker for most kitchens, but if you press garlic very often, it gets annoying.

This garlic press works perfectly. There is no need to peel the garlic and there is no waste.

I had a wonderful garlic press that finally gave out. None could compare. I wanted easy to clean, large enough basket to fit more than one little clove and simple enough to get the minced garlic into my recipe. I was gifted an insanely expensive garlic press that was horrible. Finally found this wonderful garlic press and could not be happier. It's solid construction, large capacity and simple to use and clean. I've been using it for several months now (we use a lot of garlic in my house) and still delighted.

This garlic press really looks like a bigh dollar item! Very polished and beautiful design... Like as far as metals go, it really is beautiful. It is machined so well. Maybe forged, idk but it is done very well. I doubt I will ever need to buy another one unless I am buying a gift for someone. It can fit two or more cloves depending on size of garlic. It crushea easily and completely. You do NOT have to skin the garlic first! Its amazing hot the skin stays but garlic come out! I have researched way too much for a simple garlic press, but im telling you, this thing is tops! Of course I didn't need such a polished, beautiful looking press for more money, but when your in the cooking groove and feeling it, grabbing a fine tool just makes you feel better. In any job or circumstances.. it always feels better and works better when you have the best choice for the job! Ya know what I mean? Sure ya do!

It worked well as a garlic press. However, after about 1 year, the chrome finish looks like it is peeling at the garlic press holes.

Muy pero que muy satisfecho. Finalmente un prensador de ajos que funciona a las mil maravillas. Soy un cocinillas rematado con mucha experiencia y un amante del ajo que suelo utilizar en grandes cantidades como caracterÃstica personal de muchos de mis platos . Tuve que devolver 3 modelos a Amazon de otras marcas ( COCODA, OXO,bastante más caro y GHEART) y me resultaron incómodos y poco prà cticos. COCODA aplasta el ajo y es demasiado grande para guardar y optimizar espacio. El OXO no aprovecha todo el ajo, siempre queda un residuo excesivo para limpiar y tirar, el GHEART, enorme y pesado que a pesar de su longitud habÃa que realizar mucha fuerza y se encallaba por mal encaje de sus piezas. Todos ellos de materiales de indiscutible calidad y buen diseño , más caros y muy bien valorados por sus compradores que no creo que conozcan el Oliver's Kitchen. Los modelos que devolvà eran de agujeros cuadrados (excepto COCODA que es multifunción) porqué si es cierto que no exprimen ni estrujan el ajo perdiendo su jugo. Lo cierto es que me pareció observar en la foto del la web que el Oliver's Kitchen tenÃa un diseño distinto en su perforación en comparación a otros muy parecidos ( HomeTeck o Com-four, por ejemplo). Generalmente no te puedes fiar de la impresión de un producto por la foto hasta que no lo compruebas en la realidad, pero creo que , finalmente acerté . Tanto los agujeros como los pivotes que expulsan el ajo son diferentes : algo más grandes y ligeramente cónicos no aplastan el ajo sino que lo pican. Además el Oliver's Kitchen tiene los siguientes puntos a favor : -Buena capacidad (caben varios dientes de ajo)- Aprovecha todo el ajo y no lo machaca- Buena calidad del metal- Bisagra sólida- Encaje milimétrico de todas sus partes, lo que facilita su limpieza pues queda un residuo mÃnimo- Buen precio (no dejarse engañar por los parecidos más baratos, nunca son lo mismo)- Ligero y ergonómico.No es tan difÃcil hacer un buen producto. Basta con la calidad del material que se utiliza y un diseño que más allá de resultar atractivo esté atento al detalle para que su funcionalidad sea eficiente. Y por suesto, ofrecer un precio competitivo. Felicidades

Je peux écraser ail et gingembre sans beaucoup d'effort, facile à nettoyer qui plus est ! Je l'utilise depuis plusieurs mois et il est toujours aussi efficace.
