LAVVON Olympic 8" Adapter Sleeve
- Made from heavy-duty nylon with a steel hex bolt.
- End cap is REMOVABLE for use with longer 1" standard posts!
- Includes 2 allen key to tighten and loosen the metal hex nut.
Turn your 1" standard barbell or weight post into a 2" Olympic bar or weight post.
Great for older style barbells, curl bars and plate loaded weight machines.
Tip: Use Barbell Collars as weight stopper to keep your plates exactly where you want them and to ensure they do not slip off when you are training.

These are perfect for the purpose they were purchased, my curl bar. I would NOT subject them to any impact, like CrossFit training with bumper plates. Check the length before considering them for bench pressing as you may need more real estate for plates and clamps. Overall, they’re plenty good for my intended use.

this was an excellent purchase to convert some standard bar sleeve into a olympic bar sleeve. perfect size and length and perfect fit. definitely a great alternative to convert stand plate bars to olympic size.

The hex screw hole was poorly machined, it left large piece of the plastic protruding out on the ID, which could not fit onto the bar. I had to use Drummel to sand it down before it can be fitted.After that it worked well, but it did needed a little DIY .

This sleeve worked perfectly to convert my one inch cable attachment to 2 inch. Now I can used my standard Olympic plates. The quality of the sleeve is good and the tightening screws make it solid. The included clips are lightweight and nothing too special but do the job just fine for my purposes.
