I got mine on sale during Black Friday at a steal. I love this bar and use it for standing curls and standing over head presses. I have put 100lbs worth of 25lb plates on it and have had no issues. The ends spin freely and the finish is very comfortable. Good knurling with no grip issues. Worth the money and a wonderful addition to the home gym.

Good quality for the price but the curl bar is not 2", a little less. The weight stoppers I have cannot lock the weights 100%, not able to keep the weights tied when lifting, kind of slightly loose after a couple of repetitions. Not a big deal when you are lifting light, can be a problem if you want to lift heavy (risk of dropping weights). I may need to change the stoppers; it would be nice if the MFR provides them.The 47" bar is too short for me, I need an extra 6-10" to have the right arm set up, I am unnecessary overstressing my wrists. This is something to consider before buying, measure your hand position.I like the grip; it feels slightly sharp so no chances of losing grip during lifting.Since the product is made of good quality and at a reasonable price, I will give it 5 stars.

Gonna be honest here - I'm getting old! With that said, I'm still trying to keep in shape, and barbell curls tend to stress my joints more than I'd like (between almost 40 years of hockey, 25 years of baseball, 10 years of powerlifting...it's not my form, it's my body, unfortunately). This little bar is a great value that fits the bill.The knurling is decent enough - not so flat that it's useless, but also not so sharp and spiky that it hurts the hands. If you're somewhere between beginner (baby soft hands) and a longer-term lifter (good callous development) this bar will be great for you. I don't lift as much or as frequently as I used to, and this bar is perfectly in the middle for comfort, although there should be no reason why anyone can't use it.I've only had it for a few days, so the long-term durability remains to be seen, but the initial impression is it's quite nice. It arrived with the tube it was shipped in missing half of it, yet showed no signs of damage at all, so I'm going to go with this thing is pretty durable!

I purchases this with a little concern because the price was so low, i thought it might not be a good bar. However, I opened it up yesterday and it was in perfect condition, well packaged. I immediately put it to use. It is 22lbs, feels great when using it. THe knurling is a good grip and comfortable. The bearings on the ends are smooth and quiet. I cannot believe how nice this bar is.... I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great quality + low cost curl bar. Not sure how they do it at this price, but thank you !

Was amazed at price of curl bars. This is what I needed for cheaper, good all around, noticed that the coat is already scratched where the weights go, but only from me putting it in the barbell stand.
