I was hoping that this objecctive would give a full field of view like my 4x objective but at low 1x magnification. Image is inside a dark circle about 1/4 the field of view. Totally unsuitable. I'm not sure what microscope can ise this objective but I tried it on three microscopes and it was the same on all three. AmScope has a 2x that has the same problems !!!! Not good. I would not recommend this objective unless you have a special microscope that will accommodate it.
