Omegon Mini Dobsonian Mount II - turn a small OTA into a Dobsonian telescope
This mount lets your small OTA become a full-fledged mini-telescope. Just place a small refractor or Maksutov OTA onto the mount and you can follow stars and planets in the night sky - for a stable image with a base that allows you to move your OTA in all directions.
The Mini Dobson Mount II is now even better than its predecessor - with rubber feet for a better grip on smooth surfaces and real Teflon pads for smoother movements.

Smooth and easy moving rocker boxThe rocker box is made of wood and, like its big brothers, is mounted on Teflon pads. This means you can track objects very easily when observing - just push lightly on the telescope in the direction you wish it to move.
This dovetail has nothing to do with birds
Many telescopes now come with a standard mounting rail. This will be either a GP, Vixen, Skywatcher or Celestron rail. These systems are used for the no-fuss attachment of the telescope OTA onto the mount.

Love it! It's little, this really is for a little desktop dob, nothing bigger, but it's great quality and component parts are really well made and assembled. Highly recommend.

Pretty good for the price, one of the only small dobsonian mounts available on the market that I could find, certainly beats a tripod.Fits my Celestron C90 perfectly and should fit any small (short) maksutov or Newtonian 'scope that has a dovetail bar. Great for a grab and go telescope. I use it mainly from my bedroom windowsill and it's the perfect height and size for that, though also has a tripod mount on the bottom so can be used without a table/windowsill. I end up using this much more often than my larger equatorial mounted Newtonian 'scope.It's not a perfectly smooth motion but I think that's mainly due to the small size. The altitude motion tension can be adjusted with the hand screw though when loosened tends to sag a little. I don't think the azimuth tension can be adjusted, certainly not as easily and without tools.Packaging and postage time was good, especially seeing as it shipped from Germany.4.5/5 Stars, definitely recommended for the price, if you can get hold of one.
