Found this on the Rugged Ridge site to assure myself that it would fit my 1990 YJ ( Transfer Case Model = 231J) even though others on here said it didnt fit for them... it fit my Jeep perfect and the rear transfer case seal leak that i had is now gone.

This seal came quickly, and took about 15 minutes to install. Completely eliminated leaking at the t-case output shaft of my 1992 Jeep YJ. I'm running the stock 4.0 6 cylinder with AX-15 trans and 231 t-case.
