Spares wear and tear on your fingers and finger nails. Find that this tool does work. If I had had a chance to try this out before purchase I likely would not have bought due that it is expensive for what it is.

Pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it. And I can stop ruining my teeth prying shells open.

I eat pistachios almost daily. This tool, while a little pricey, does a great job with those stubborn ones that have a tiny sliver of an opening. Do t hesitate to buy it!

Totally completely love it, works great except I just noticed it’s rusty and I’ve only had it 3 months. I’m outside the return window and it doesn’t look like the rust is on the only part that actually touches the nut so I’ll keep an eye on it and use it for now.

Like that this product is not made in China. Makes a job that is frustrating, and often difficult, a breeze. Pistachios look like they are partially open , and appear like they would open very easily. NOT !!! Takes more than a bit of finger muscles, and can quickly ruin an expensive manicure. This gizmo holds the nut, and the little beak-like thing slips into the partially split shell, then, with a quick press of a thumb, the shell splits open in the blink of an eye, and the nut itself is not damaged. I am truly impressed !
