I decided to get this on a whim in the hopes of throwing out my larger can opener and I am so glad I did. This can opener does require batteries so make sure you have 4 AA handy. Once you put the batteries in, attach it to a can (I used green beans), and let it go. The top of the can comes off easy with the magnet. This is very efficient and easy to store. Buy one!

I like that I no longer have to use force with my hand to open cans since sometimes it is painful to apply pressure, this can opener is very smooth and very easy to use.

My mother is older and has a hard time using manual can openers. I thought I'd try this and glade we did. This is much easier for her.

I really appreciate this product. Very practical, great size and quiet. now I can open my cans without hurting my hands! It works with 4 AA batteries.
