These fit on my baofeng uv5r as you would expect and connected to my Nagoya whip antenna. As far as ease of use, it's a quarter turn to remove the antenna and swap it over to a different antenna which is really why I got it. It connects as it should. It's not loose and the performance that you gain out of this is negligible, but it does afford you the ability to swap antennas very quickly depending on the scenario you find yourself in. They've been on my radios for a few months now and I carry my radios with me everywhere I go and so far I've had no issues with durability. Overall, it is a great upgrade to your handheld radio.

Very little leakage at 100w. They hold together and don't come loose after or during usage like some others. (That is if your antenna or coax moves around in the wind or HT is in motion).

If you own a handheld transceiver withe a screw-on "rubber duckie" antenna, you must have noticed how fragile those SMA antenna connectors appear to be -- and they are fragile, especially where they fit into the radio chassis. That may not be a big deal with a $20 Baofeng (which needs the "female SMA" version of this set), but things are different when your radio costs well over $100 or you didn't bring a spare into the field with you. BNC connectors are a bit beefier, and the bayonet-style connection is both easier and less stressful when you need to attach or change antennas. I have three Ham Radio HTs, and multiple antennas; by equipping all with these adapters, I can mix and match as the occasion (or my whim) calls for.

Adaptadores de mucha utilidad, sobre todo si vas a campo y no sabes que esperar, estos adaptadores en realidad me ayudan a resolver y lo único que te exigen es cuidar la flexion del cable para no dañar el conector fijo.
