Note:
- This USB sound adapter is designed for headphones with a 3.5mm TRRS interface. Do not work with TS or TRS microphones.
- The USB interface on the PS3 does not transmit audio signals, so this USB audio adapter is not suitable for PS3. For PS4 pro, please plug it into the USB port on the back.
- Do not work with work with headset with separated headphone and microphone 3.5mm audio port.
- For some computers to select an audio output device, double-click the sound icon in the control panel, and then select USB audio device as the default device.
- You can set a higher sampling rate in the device(the sound icon at the bottom right of the computer to open the sound control panel, then select the sound card to enter the headset properties, and then select Advanced.

Configuration Instructions
Windows:
1.Select the sound icon in the taskbar, right click and choose
2.Click on the play or record device option
3.Adjust the volume up or down in computers and applications.
Mac:
Open System Preferences Settings → Sound → C Media USB Headset → Output or Input → Volume

Fried the AUX port on my laptop and needed this as a solution. Works perfectly in place of my AUX port.Can also be used to plug in multiple AUX audio sources and quickly switch between them on your PC without needing to plug/unplug them, I.E. switching between headphones and theatre system easily.Nice little adapter that I didn't realize was so useful.

I needed this to output an audio signal for some older computer desktop speakers I just bought. My Mac Mini only has USB outputs and the speakers had a 1/8" stereo jack. This adapter did the trick. It is flexible and seems pretty sturdy.

I recently replaced my laptop that had a headphone jack, with a newer model that doesn't. At first, I looked for a multiport hub with a headphone jack, but I'm very satisfied with my existing hub. I got this as a trial workaround, and it works fine. My new Windows laptop recognizes it immediately, and sound quality is excellent. I also got a USBC adapter (which also works fine), so now I have two solutions.

Don't waste your time with this. I have a set of high end Klipsche speakers connected to a 6 channel stereo mixer via high end audio cables. as soon as i plugged this thing into the mixer i heard a nasty buzzing / whine. i thought it was my mixer so i changed channels nope same thing then i changed the cable. nope same thing. If you could take a dog mess on the floor and convert it to audio it would sound like that. I mean i don't expect much but at least design some filtering circuitry in the DAC. You do get what you pay for and all but how this thing got out of QA is ridiculously bad.

If you are looking for a USB dongle to plug into a deskphone, this one does include microphone input. It's great if you have a headset with a 3.5mm Jack and would like to use it to talk over the phone if you do any remote work and or want to play games on your PC.

Does not work well with high-quality audio devices. When paired with my IEMs or my Yeti mic, the sound was unbearably hollow and fuzzy.Worked great with regular headphones.
