I absolutely love my cast iron, but it is not always the easiest to clean. This tool is fantastic and easy to use. The handle is a real gamechanger for ease of scrubbing and the chainmail clears the grit off the pan without damaging the surface. It's great!

Works great for removing left-over food from cast iron. Food does not get stuck in brush like in others that have bristles. Very handy cleaning tool for cast iron cookware!

Solid 4 stars, not 5 stars simply because it's not advertised as dishwasher safe. Much better than the other chainmail holders, which are too small and/or the handles bend too easily.I used regular chain mail with no handle for a few years and I liked the way it cleans but it's hard on the hands and I can't get the full strength of my arm into the corners, where you need a lot of finger pressure to remove built-up carbon. So I went looking for something with a handle. Most of those products are rather small and there are complaints in the reviews.I found one with a good-size handle and when it got here, the handle was silicone rubber that bends as you apply pressure. So you're just using your arm strength to bend the handle, and now your hand is at an awkward angle. Then some of the links broke off. Returned.Bought this one - the handle is well shaped for your hand, and the handle stays rigid.The only downside is, I'm used to putting just the metal chain mail in the dishwasher. But this one isn't advertised as dishwasher safe. I'm concerned if I put it in the dishwasher then water will get trapped inside the handle. Though the handle is very sturdy and I think I could step on it or throw it against the wall with no damage, still it sounds hollow, like water could possibly get trapped inside.Still worth it. I've cleaned it with just a brush and it's not grimy - we'll see after more use if it holds up.

I like these. They work so much better than the scrubber side of sponges. And no odor, easy to clean after. The circular motion works well for the round pans

I bought this after I wound up with a sticky residue on my skillet. It just wasn't coming off. Even though I waited a few days for delivery, the scrubber worked great! I heated some water in the skillet, emptied it and then started cleaning. It took just a few minutes, easy to use and felt comfortable in my hand. Based on just this one use I would recommend .

Good quality , however doesn’t seem to penetrate my cast pan as it’s slightly textured. Still gets 5 star as it’s not the fault of the product .
