Make sure to have the product in the right place when you touch the adhesive to the damaged leather, because it really sticks once it touches. It was worth the time I spent to get it right, because it has now molded to the car seat and the color match is good!

I recently purchased the black leather seat patch from Amazon, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. This product proved to be a fantastic solution for repairing the worn-out section of my leather seat. The patch is made of high-quality black leather that perfectly matches the original seat color, making the repair virtually seamless. The adhesive backing provided a strong and secure bond, ensuring that the patch stays in place even with regular use. I was impressed by how easy it was to apply, thanks to the clear instructions included. Not only did it restore the appearance of my seat, but it also added a touch of elegance. I highly recommend this black leather seat patch to anyone in need of a reliable and aesthetically pleasing solution for leather seat repairs. It's truly a game-changer!

I have a 20 year old Lexus 2 seater. Over time and with alot of use, the drivers side, leather seat split. I didn't want to pay Lexus to replace the seat (it would've cost $$$$$), so I sought a DIY way. First, I cleaned the leather really well. Then I tucked some foam insulation in the crack to bring the level of the seat up to the rest of the seat. Then I used strips of another similar product to pull the leather on both sides of the crack closer together, but not too taut. Lastly, I cut the piece of this thick, sticky material in two and carefully laid it over the patching I had previously done. I used my hands to smooth out the big patch and then I sat in the seat and drove around a bit so the patch would conform to my bottom. It worked wonderfully. Doesn't exactly match the original leather seat, but it DOES look much better than a cracked seat. It's been on 3 months and so far, stayed in place. If it holds over the hot East Coast summer, then I'd say it was a super great buy.

This is the fourth time I have used this product (previously I have repaired 2 car seats and the armrest of a couch). This time was a little trickier because of the shape of the seat, and my lack of supplies at my son‘s place to make a template. The stuff is easy to peel off, easy to cut, good adhesion. The biggest problem is matching your texture and color. The edge of it seals pretty well so there’s not much peeling up after extended use.

My leather sofa had worn out on the one foot rest and I bought the ONine Leather Repair Tape in the color Blue to fix it. Wasn’t expecting it to match as well as it did! What a Bonus. The 16â€x32†roll was more than enough, so I will likely repeat on the other foot rest. I used regular chalk to mark where to cut, and used a rotary cutter. It is very sticky so be ready to apply and commit because moving was not an option. I’m very happy with my repair, nice thick leather.

Our little dog kept jumping up and her claws tore up the leather. I used this product and it turned out great. The arm is tapered as it goes down so I followed the stitching and made it straight. The other side, I did not push the sticky side down until I cut it along the stitching that was tapered down. Then I used a hair dryer to make it stick better.

I picked up a leather recliner on a deep discount, but it had a small puncture hole in it. I picked up one of these kits, and I was amazed at the quality. The patch is a good size, and colour-matched the chair quite well. 3M self-adhesive on the back, and it cut easily with a utility knife. Application was as simple as cleaning the area, letting it dry, and then peeling off the adhesive backing and applying the patch to the damaged area.
