I bought this for the Casio LK280. The pedal is on a hard surface and doesn't slide. I hear no clicking or squeaking, it is easy to operate, feels like a real piano pedal and doesn't pinch if you wear socks only. The polarity was already set correctly for my keyboard so it was just plug it in and go. The cord is 6', more than long enough. For the Casio LK280, I found that a few of the tones didn't sound any different and it will sustain all notes played on any tones with a continuous sound such as organ, strings, etc., causing an unholy mess of sound. It works great for the piano tones, as it should, and is the reason I bought it. If you are looking for a quality pedal to sustain piano voices this seems a good one to consider.

This thing is great. I just threw away my (two) backup pedals because I would rather go without than play without a good pedal. The previous two scooted all around the carpet and eventually each one began to "stick". Problem was, even when they worked internally, both of them floated about the carpet in this place. Look, if I were really truly serious about this stuff, I would have a much better set-up. Something that weighs 500 lbs and has pedal GUARAN-FRICKING-TEED not to move about because they are firmly attached to a massive piece of furniture ^H^H^H^H musical instrument that costs more to move than a refrigerator. So even if this gives me trouble later on, I cannot describe how happy I am with the fact that on a moderate carpet, this pedal just STAYS WHERE I PUT IT.Of course it feels great, works fine, etc. But it also doesn't require you to chase it down during a rollicking tune.

My old pedal was wearing out and this one was easy to install, the weight is good and it fits my small feet really well.

I have used this pedal on both my and my and it's one hundred percent compatible with both. One nice feature that ensures compatibility is the polarity switch that enables it to work with just about any brand and model keyboard. It's well constructed and I have not encountered any issues with the two-piece bottom. In fact, after over a year of use on carpet issues reported by another have not surfaced. If anything this pedal is as good as new.The feel is superb. There is positive resistance as you depress the pedal and the spring tensions it in such a manner that you can control exactly the rate of depression or release. It is not so tight as to fatigue, but the response is positive.Another feature I love is the six foot cord length - it gives you room to place the pedal when you have tiered keyboards and multiple pedals on the floor. The cable itself and the plug look to be high quality and have withstood over a year of constant use with no problems. If you are looking for an inexpensive, but not cheaply made, pedal that will work with just about any keyboard this one is worth considering. I am sold on it and would replace it with an identical pedal if something happens to this one.

Not the best pedal out there, and probably won't be the most durable, but certainly one of the cheapest. I got this because my Korg pedal wouldn't work with my E-mu keyboard. (I did realize after I ordered the pedal that a Korg pedal WILL work with an E-mu keyboard if you connect the pedal's quarter-inch stereo plug to a cord connector, then plug a mono quarter-inch cord into that and plug into the keyboard. But I think this pedal works better--has a wider, more workable window of transmission than the the jury-rigged set-up I just mentioned. The only thing I wish for is the twist-around rubber pad attached to the bottom of some sustain pedals that you can set your heel on so the pedal won't run away onstage. Velcro doesn't last, plus you have to carry a carpet or rug.

Such a good pedal I bought a second because I wanted to keep one in my keyboard case for traveling. The biggest concern I have with pedals is they take a lot of wear and if they aren't well designed they break under the abuse, but I've been using one of these for years and it is going strong while others have broken.

This is a nice pedal, has a long wire so works well in all spaces and has a good range of pressure. Have been using for a year with my Casio synth with no issues so would recommend.

I bought this so I can have a sustain pedal on my cheap keyboard. For the money, it's an excellent value, not cheap and flimsy, and it feels fine and works perfectly. It comes with a little slip-on clear plastic cover to make it non-skid --- I'll probably just leave it on to protect the finish on the chrome part. I researched this purchase carefully and found that there are several similar products available that cost double the price, but they are very lightweight, I believe this one weighs over 1 lb, that's the detail to check.
