I use on of these for my voiceover/podcasting setup when I want to swap out various handheld dynamic mics. As a clip, it works great. Very solid. As a shock mount? Eh. It might lessen the effects of a bump or two, but it's not a "shock mount". Still, good enough that I have a couple of them and use them regularly. I use lots of On-Stage stuff and this is right up there with the rest of it.

These are all I buy now. I’ve tried every holder out there and they all break or fail to hold the mic securely. I am a working musician and use these all the time. they last a while and they are very flexible to handle different brands and sizes of mic. Pricey but you only need to buy one for each stand and they don’t break.

This has been my goto mic holder for years. good shock protection and holds practically any mic. I've never had one break and own several. The tapered SM-58's and Beta 57A bodies can be a problem, but not with this clip.

While adjusting mic stand you can still hear a little jumbling but it's greatly improved.

Nothing really special about this microphone clip..., but it's worth the money. As for the claim of ''dynamic shock mount''? Nope. There's nothing special here. My grandmother, Toolie, could dynamically shock mount better. It's a good microphone clip. Yes. It is. Should you buy it for its ability to isolate? You'd do better to see my grandmother for your next gig. She shakes and mumbles a bit, but she'll still isolate better than this clip.Buy it if you want a good clip. Don't buy it if you're looking to isolate -- at all.

These work good as inconspicuous shock mounts for stage mics. I’ve had several for several years. The only downside is they eventually dry out, crack, and won’t hold a mic.

It does what it is suppose to, cut vibration and well I might add. Much better than a standard clip on a mic. This one is not going to break if you take the mic on and off, since it's rubber. If it does break, has a lifetime warranty. Had a Shure SM58 on a table, on a stand in this clip, pounded on the table, only picked up the tap sound my hand has making, and no sub harmonics vibrating though the table. Moved the mic off axis, pounded again, absolutely no noise. Can't ask for more than that.

The gap in the centre is not wide enough for the cord to easily slip through
