These seem very good.I don't know why Sure sells the SM58 with a mic holder that barely fits an XLR cable end, then they don't tell you which mic holder actually fits the mic handle.I like the rubberized construction of this mic holder, if a mic stand tips over, I doubt the mic holder will shatter. It also makes it able to stretch for the larger handle of a Sure handheld wireless mic.The metal thread insert is nice also. It's not nearly as likely to strip the threads as an all plastic mic holder.The cost was pretty reasonable too.I put it on an On Stage pistol grip mic stand that I bought from Sam Ash. This combo is almost idiot proof which I think it almost required for a comedy club. The cast iron base has plenty of weight so it's not tippy. Adjusting the stand is easy because it doesn't have the typical twist collar that loosens and collapses all too often when used by a novice. Now the mic holder is idiot proof too. On top of that we have a Sure SM58 so that's a classic standard.In my opinion this is an appropriate part of a professional quality microphone setup for a comedy club, karaoke bar or even a band if they use a SM58 shape handheld mic.

Bought these to use on my large barrel wireless mics for church service with multiple readers. These clips are thick plastic but flex to allow thick mics. Hold secure and just work well. Have inserts if you stand needs them. Bought more for the parish center system. I recommend them.

It's a snug fit, but that's what you want! These holders will handle the thick barrel of the Senneieser wireless handheld mics.

These are great for mics that are roughly the size of common SM58s and a little bigger. These mic clips are simple to use, fit all of our mics and are durable.At our church, we had a mix of odd sized mic clips on the stands, some just too narrow to really hold a typical mic. I tried some spring-loaded "clothes pin" style clips because I thought those would work for any size mic. They did, BUT two drawbacks with those - first people didn't understand intuitively how to work the clip, and secondly the moving parts make them more fragile. These are just simple, one piece clips that people are familiar with and that, so far, haven't broken. Much better!

Not at all cheaply made...very good quality...glad I bought them..I purchased the 4 pak thinking at that price it wouldn't matter if they weren't too good and may break relatively easy...but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and the fact they work well.
