As I said on the other package, these make a subtle but noticeable improvement in the tone and sustain of your cymbals. This may not be the highest priority purchase for those on a budget, but they are worth the money in my opinion.

I was skeptical of these at first, but I just couldn't stand the sound coming off my cymbals/stands. I noticed a resonating vibration from the cymbal stands, and it was negatively impacting the sound of my sweet sweet Zildjians. Replaced my stock cymbal felts with these, and it made a huge difference. I don't know the exact science behind them, but they worked for me.

I find the results to be subjective from cymbal to cymbal. I use the hi-hat optimizers. I found the "ride" optimizer to be too thick. The ride cymbal sits too high, wobbles above the cymbal sleeve and begins to ride on the threads of the stand. I found the thinner 40mm optimizer to be more useful under the ride cymbal with a traditional fabric felt on top. Overall, I found 40mm optimizers to be the most useful under cymbals with fabric felts on top. My 18" crash had even weirder overtones with a foam optimizer, so I use felt top and bottom on that one.

Funzionano alla grande,non so come fanno ma tagliano via tutte le risonanze delle aste il risultato un suono veramente pulito .Quello del Ride da il risultato più notevole.

Son más firmes que los típicos fieltros para platos y eso les da menor movimiento aunque no he notado mucha diferencia en el sonido del plato. Quizá tenga los oídos demasiado atrofiados de tocar tantos años XD

A huge improvement over stock felts. I bought these after watching a video review, and now use them on all my cymbals. I don't think my band-mates have noticed any difference, but I have, and that's the important thing. I notice the difference most on my crashes, making them sound less gong-ish and more how I like a cymbal to sound. They're weren't cheap to kit out my whole set up, but I think they were worth it.
