I put off buying a new bar for my Stihl MS211c for a while. This fits perfectly. Don't throw out your old, beat-up bar. Keep it, in case you get your saw stuck in a tree. If that happens, you can undo your stuck bar from the saw, install your old bar on the saw, and free up the bar now stuck in the tree!And, remember to flip over your bar from time to time so it lasts longer.

Replaced my stock bar and chain. Held up great in a tree cutting environment, fit my chainsaw perfectly, it performed great, keep in mind that being an idiot with a chainsaw is not the products fault so keep that in mind. When using the right sharpener it is razor sharp. It never bound or got caught, cut through maple, oak, and pine quick. Know your tool and it's limitations most do not.

Got this as an upgrade for my Stihl 170 - why on earth Stihl don't fit these more standard 0.05" bars to the saw from the factory I really don't know. Anyway with this bar and the new chain fitted, the saw cuts like it should do. I've knocked over about 6 8-12" ash and birch trees, plus limbed them up with this - and I haven't needed to sharpen it yet. Cuts quicker, easier and doesn't bog down like the factory bar/chain used to.Way, way better than the stock Stihl bar and chain combo - if you've got a 170, get this now. It's not cheap, but it's like getting a whole new (better) saw. Really awesome, highly recommended.Hope that helps.
