I really like this fish scale. It works well. I can also use it to weigh my luggage. It has a digital read out and it comes with batteries.

I picked this item because I travel frequently and I always over pack.I took photos and then went to try out the product. I installed the 2 AAA batteries(included!) in the scale and used it to weigh my empty suitcase. I then used my non digital suitcase scale to weigh it and both weights were within less than a half pound of each other. I believe this scale to be accurate.Next I wanted to try picking up a light item I had near me with the fish lip gripper. I was unable to do so because the lip gripper tool broke when I squeezed the handle to open the "mouth". Partially my fault- you are supposed to open them out instead of squeezing them, I think, but there were no directions. I assumed they worked like a chip clip- squeeze to open, but they snapped like a twig.

This fishing scale is accurate and easy to use, with a comfortable non-slip handle. The floating gripper and built-in tape measure are great additions for versatile use. However, the backlight could be brighter for better visibility in low light.
