2 ways to use ORIMERC self-watering wick cord
End-to-End connection
- Take one end of the rope and push it several inches below the surface of the soil .
- Rest the other end of the rope in the bottom of your water container and fill it with water.
Bottom Passive Watering System
- Leave a reasonable length winding around inside the pot to distribute moisture evenly.
- Rest the other end of the rope in the below container and fill it with water.

I bought this and I use it to keep my porch plants watered all summer.. when I leave for 2 or 3 weeks.. my plants always look great when I return.. people at my door can’t tell if I’m in town or out.. I did use a hooked piece of coat hanger to pull it thru my plants pots.. I used a galvanized tub to hold water.. we have high 90°weather..

I just tried this product and its performance is outstanding. I made one mistake and I placed a 5 gallon bucket of water 1/2 full with a cord in the bucket going into one of my planters. Three hours later when I went to my garage the bucket was mty and the water on the floor. I still can’t understand how fast the water travels uphill

Used for the dozens of plants I brought indoors for the winter to make watering easier. Works very well. Although I may need to get some smaller diameter for plants that need less water, or try the trick i saw of knotting the cord to slow down the water. I used some old jars filled with water and added multiple wicks. Make sure the cord goes all the way to the bottom of water and just slightly into the soil of your plant.

Its doesn't work. I woke up in the morning to water every where. My planters were over filling with water.
