Loved every single piece of it. Very solid materials used in manufacturing. I was able to use my impact with the proper sized plates to pull bearings within seconds. The besting seperator came in handy when the old bearing seperated. I was able to easily apply the proper size clamp, and pull it right off. Highly recommend!

Bought this kit to prepare to replace the front wheel bearing on a Toyota Sienna. Used my hub puller (another tool) to press the hub out of the bearing, Set up this press kit to press the bearing out of the knuckle, and the collar nut stripped out before the bearing even broke loose- and yes, I greased the through bolt and nut. Kit comes with 2 bolts, but not 2 nuts, so it's essentially garbage now. Winded up just using the cup and mini sledge to hammer the bearing out. Then pulled out the bearing splitter (which are comically small for a wheel bearing on any vehicle), barely got the large splitter to fit the inner race still on the hub, tightened it down as much as I could, and when I went to press the race out, the splitter just slid off the race. Took a look at the edge of the splitter that contacted the race, and the metal was just flattened out. Definitely not fully hardened metal and now where near the strength of a large splitter you'd use on a shop press. The spray painted metal should have been a dead giveaway. So no part of any of this kit did what it was supposed to. May be good for pinion bearings or something tiny like a lawn mower, but forget about anything that would conventionally need a press. Only plus side is there are a lot of cup sizes, but that doesn't do me much good.

This Orion Motor Tech 38pc 2-in-1 Bearing Press Kit is a must-have for any serious DIYer or professional mechanic. Packed with rear axle goodies, this kit is perfect for replacing bearings with ease. The bearing separators effortlessly pull bearings off the carrier, while the press bushings drive wheel axle bearings without damaging the races. This kit is a fantastic complement to other tools in your shop, and if you have a shop press, it becomes an immensely helpful addition to your toolkit. At just over $100 with a coupon, the price is reasonable for the heavy-duty tools included. While you can find cheaper, less complete kits for one-off repairs, this comprehensive set will cover more tasks over the long haul. Whether you’re pinching pennies or investing in quality, this kit is a solid choice that will serve you well for years to come.

About a year ago I changed out the bushings on my car's lower control arm. I had to borrow some tools to accomplish this. Now that I have this kit, I decided to go after the control arm on the other side.Even though this seems like a very complete kit, it still didn't include a "cup" size small enough to fit/press out the bushing. This may be because it's a bearing kit and not for bushings, though the same principles apply. Fortunately, I saved some pieces from the work on the other control arm. I needed to use the metal ring from the old bushing (minus all the rubber) to press against this bushing to drive it out. In one of the photos I show a cup used to press against that left over ring, but I actually just used one of the plates directly against the old ring. At times I also needed a ring made from an exhaust pipe adapter to push the bushing all the way through.Pushing the new bushing in was much easier and was accomplished with just parts from this kit. Still, I'll definitely keep those old parts (see last photo) with this kit, as they may come in handy again at some point.I guess no one kit can include all possible sizes. Other than that, the kit worked well. I kept the hefty bolt well lubricated while I used my impact wrench, and it didn't seem to get overly hot.Yes, it's simpler to just replace the control arm as an assembly rather than changing bushings, but I tried that when I did the first control arm. The arms I purchased were not "true" and fit very poorly, and it was too late to return them for a refund. That's when I decided to stick with the original Toyota control arms and replace the bushings instead. With this kit, I wouldn't hesitate to do the job the exact same way.

Multi-application puller sets for all bearings and pullers. comes as two separate sets, one covers all front-end wheel bearings and hubs for front wheel drive vehicles, and the other is a universal grab or bolt on set for pulleys, harmonic balancers, steering wheels, gears and other press or keyed applications. This set is very well made with 1045 structural steel with a black oxide rust-proof coating, packaged separately in two crush proof well organized storage cases. Overall, a very well made and engineered extractor set, the price is incredibly cheap for the quality. One of the highlighted features I am excited about is the fact that this set can remove and install front wheel bearing without having to realign the wheel, since you do not have to remove the steering knuckle or strut assembly. This alone saves a ton of time and labor.

Was using two breaker bars and nut strips out only good for newer cars not cars that had bearing in for long time
