It's a seam rippers, works as one just fine. However, I rarely sew, so I need or use one often even to tell you if this gets "caught" on the thread or not. Also, I only really used the 2 longer sized seam rippers, the short ones were too awkward for me to see what I was doing, and too difficult to manuver due to my arthritis. I can see the small ones being great in a survival bag or a travel sewing kit, though! Also, I loved the little clip scissors! Overall, definitely recommend this as it's good bang for your buck.

I'm a broke college student and sewing can be quite expensive. For this price, I had bought myself a singular seam ripper at Michael's and it ended up breaking and I needed a replacement. That's when I found this absolute gem for cheaper than that one seam ripper. It comes with two standard size ones ( a little more than 3 inches) and with two huge ones (almost twice the size) and a snipper. They are made with a sturdy material and it's perfect if you're broke like me and you're looking for some seam rippers!

Happy to say everything arrived and looked as pictured, and happier still to report that the large handled rippers are sturdy and fit nicely in the hand. Also glad to mention that the small rippers do their job quite well, no sharpening needed, and the metal bits seem to be well-anchored inside their plastic bits. The lids fit ok, did not fall off while riding around in my sewing kit.The snips are slightly better than expected, and have survived getting wet without rusting (yeah!!!) The snips make precise cuts as if they were more expensive, name-brand sewing snips, with a sturdy feel in the hand. The lid on the snips does fall off somewhat easily, the only (moderate) negative I could find with this purchase.

I'm not sure if there is any practical difference between all the different seam rippers in this set but they work perfectly and seem of decent quality for the price.

I wanted an unpicker the same size as I usually use, which is the bigger size one. So, I got 2 of that and 2 small. A nice surprise was the snip. Mine wasn't working too well, so it was good to get a replacement. It works well and is a good size. Was packaged well for transit.

Too expensive, but so is everything else. I like the different sizes. They seem to be well made.
