I really liked the concept of these 2 tools together in one unit. Unfortunately, the ripper side wasn't made to stay out. It is very frustrating trying to use it. On top of that, you have to pay 10 dollars for shipping.

The seam ripper doesn’t have a lock mechanism. You have to hold it open.

Threader works ok and seam ripper works well, but the reason I ordered this was to have a light for the seam ripper, however there was no light. I have several seam rippers and several threaders (though this threader is sturdier than most)…why buy more? What I wanted was a light!

I break wire needle threader. Go through a lot of them. So I don't expect this one to last. You have to hold the spring loaded tool open everytime so not very productive.
