Great quality tool, ran over 100 steel parts and the insert looks unused. I would definitely recommend this tool for cnc use to anyone. Also the price is unbeatable.

I didn’t know that I could get oversized tool post but holders for 3/4†bits when I got this parting tool so I milled about 1/8†off two sides to fit my holder and even then it’s pretty dang rigid so at 3/4†its got to be extremely ridged. I’m going to buy another along with a 3/4 holder to get the full benefits. And the finish polishes it all off, just a nice,clean,good looking finish. I would most definitely recommend buying this especially if you are experiencing chatter like I was with my old 1/2†parting tool.

The screw to hold the insert in place makes this a better tool than the one that the insert is just pushed in.
