The adapter is solid and well made. After checking the thread sizes, I realized that the OTC 8005 could be an alternative to a more expensive and less available tool / adapter used for the removal of tail shaft extension on 4x4 Jeep Wrangler automatic transmissions 42RLE. Indeed, it did the job flawlessly, and in perhaps 30 seconds.Make sure you have a 5/8" slide hammer. This is the heftier one. The end of the tail shaft takes 3/8-16.
