This is a difficult item to review without actually experiencing any disasters, but I did my best!I first tried to test the fireproof aspect (before I got it wet) by basically just holding a lighter directly up to it all over. It held up exceptionally well - everywhere except the zipper, which melted a bit in one spot.That did unfortunately make testing the waterproof part harder, as now there was an opening due to the melted zipper, however I dutifully dropped it in the tub and sprayed it with water (did not submerge it). I had placed a dry paper towel inside of it to get an idea of how it held up, and even with the melted zipper, only a few drops got into this thing!I did contact the seller about the melted zipper and they send me a replacement, which I appreciate but will not be putting through the tests again, haha. Hopefully it holds up if I ever need it to, and in the meantime I have a nice, organized, lockable place to store important things.

Loved that file folders fit. Have bought others where standard file folders were too big or too small. Size is just what I needed.I tried 2 out first and bought 2 more as I needed one for 4 different people.

I personally have not tested for waterproofing, however when you read through the description the seller (not only this seller about like product) goes from titled ((waterproof)) to water resistant. Stating “do not submergeâ€. Please change to water resistant, waterproof is when you CAN submerge in water.I would suggest interlocking zippers for more water resistance.Anyways I like the idea of the product. I dislike the dishonest title description.I will keep the ones I purchased, and hopefully protect a few files and such. I will be placing items in waterproof bags for that little water leakage (people who tested) and go on with life hoping it doesn’t get tested in reality.Thanks

These look very small when they arrive but I was surprised at how much they hold. Fit everything I needed. I also bought a larger one but it was too heavy to carry so these are just the right size to grab and go in an emergency. I decided to return the larger one.
