While we do love our dutch ovens, cooking with them is always a workout because they're so darn heavy. The "Perfect Pot" has pretty much replaced all our heavier cookware. Much to love about this thing. First, it's easy to move between oven and stovetop, so it's ready for multi-stage cooks.The ceramic coating works as advertised (and much like the Always Pan, which is another favorite from Our Place that we use daily). We've used the Perfect Pot for multiple cooks. Boiling pasta: the lip on the pot made it convenient to pour out hot water. We could also then finish a cacio e pepe in the same pot. Reheating pasta in it led to little to no stuck-on food, and all it took was soaking for a few minutes to get the few strands that were stuck out.Oven use is good too. We roasted a chicken in it that turned out beautifully. Easy to clean (none of the mess involved in gingerly removing a flat pan with grease spilling over).The third cook we were impressed by was a biryani. The lid makes it easy to get the right seal to lock all the flavors in, and the 5.5 quart size is the right size to cook for a large gathering. Our biryani fed four adults and two kids (with lots leftover to enjoy).We were worried about how the beautiful, beautiful exterior would handle oven heat, but it handled heat with elan. One of those rare things that is both beautiful and tough!If you're tired of getting a workout every time you use your dutch oven, this is just the thing for you!

If you are considering buying this pot, just buy it. It’s heavyweight but not as heavy as a cast iron. It truly is an all in one pot allowing perfect cooking with no extra time needed. It’s exactly what I was looking for in terms of functionality, you can do it all in this pot! I originally wanted a light color but glad I went with the dark color and it matches my kitchen perfectly and I don’t feel like it an eyesore if it needs to be left on the cooktop.

This saucepan is coated and is of high quality You can tell if you've cooked enough and live long enough you realize that this is a great saucepan. It is also a great Dutch oven. Even heating and very well made. I will be purchasing more products from this company. Getting older you don't want to have to round heavy pots and pans in and out of the oven or washing them in the dishwasher heavy saucepans that can double as Dutch ovens kind of get a little cumbersome and heavy. This very high quality aluminum and is light which is lovely Don't dismiss this factor, because it's important. I would recommend this pot to anyone from the everyday home cook to my friends in the culinary industry.

I liked it a lot when I first received it and liked it and appreciated it even more when I first used it. It made a large pot of soup and it was so easy to clean. I am 81 and not as strong as I used to be so handling a heavy pot is a challenge. This is why I was interested in this pot and it lives up to its reputation. I highly recommend it!

Bought this for my Mom, to go with the perfect pan in the same colour last year. They're stunning to look at, easy to clean, excellent heat distribution, versatile and such good quality. Great size too, highly recommend.

The name describes it! The Perfect Pot!My set is complete. I have a set of 4 now. These are the best Pots and Pans I’ve ever owned. The Non Stick surface is the best I’ve ever used. They are really Non Stick even after a few years. I have the Large Pan as well as the mini pan. The Large pot is also amazing and now the Perfect Pot Mini completes the set. Being able to go from the Stove Top to the Oven is Great. I steam vegetables with my Large Pan and it’s Stainless Basket.. Always let them cool down before washing them. The small instruction booklet is all the information you need to take care of these. Coming with its own Beach Spoon or Spatula is nice. I got the oil to treat the Spoons and Spatulas and they continue to look and work like new. The small bottle goes a long way. Spoons and Spatulas also nest along the Pot & Pan, keeping them right where you want them. My Daughter is a Sous Chef and She loves hers for when she is cooking at home. These products are really the last Pots and Pans you’ll ever need to buy! I always wash mine by hand after they have cooled off. No need to hide them away in a cupboard either if you don’t want to. They look as good as they Function. Pick your own colour Pallet to suit your individual style or decor. I have the Four in different colours. Pour Spouts on each, Pot & Pan Lid have clear direct pour openings and Pots also have Strainer Pour function. I can’t say enough about the Perfect Pots and Pans!! After 4yrs my Lrg Pan & Pot still look like New!

I ordered my second piece of Our Place cookware, adding a pan to the frying pan I bought a year ago. Both pans are great to cook with, and are non-stick, but without any of the harmful, toxic coatings that most manufacturers use in their cookware. Highly recommended!
