I'm sure this is a great product but I ordered it and another product of the same type. I needed it for job next day and it was whichever got to me first, kind of thing. These did not make it first, so I can't honestly rate but I am sure they would have been just as good as what made it too me first. So I rated it a five because they did follow through.

This feels very heavy in your hand but once you start to use it, you see why it is priced so competitively. Compared to master locks, this has no cover for the combination and the sliding mechanism for the lock itself feels more sticky. Without the cover for the combination, it is susceptible to the outside weather which will wear out the oils or grease for the gears on the combination. I left this outside for 2 days and already i am seeing the combination wheels starting to get stuck. Albeit, the last two days had an immense thunderstorm roll through truly putting this lock to the test and it showed its weakness. A couple sprays of houdini solved this issue. If you can, try to tie a plastic grocery bag around your lock if you do not have to access it often. This way you dont have to maintain it so much and will be worry free.

I purchase this for my trash can, 2 yard. This way I can keep the lock on and my trash service has the combination. The arm on the lock is longer than most locks so it has a large clearance. REALLY EASY to set and change if necessary. The price was in the middle of lock pricing. Less expensive than you know who. I will be observing how it holds up over time. I wish they offered a two pack when I was purchasing. It's nice to have a backup or have in your inventory for whatever you might have in the future.

Seems like a good lock but iv not exactly tried to brake it came with no instructions but luckily Amazon had a picture of how to set it to new code was simple to do just hope nobody accidentally resets the code tho
