Recent purchase, but seems well made, and weather resistant. Remote control features are nice & it works thru the sliding glass doors to the receiving unit outside - a distance of ~~ 30 feet.

What I love: 1. So easy to use. As in -EASY. 2. Works like a charm. No issues with its functions or its functioning. Dimmer with options. Timer with options. Very clear. 3. Remote!! Yay. I can change the settings from the warmth of my house.What could be better: 1. Only one place for plug, two would be so much better, but I've fixed that with a two plug adapter. 2. The outlet plug would work better with a flat plug so it hugs the wall better and is more easily covered from the elements.It’s a bit spendy , but worth it.

Didn't expect the battery would be dead already, just since I bought it. The original I bought at a local Menards worked for over a year and battery never went dead. The good thing about this remote, the % of brightness is labelled on the remote, so I like that. Replaced battery and it turned on from 2 rooms away from the switch, GOOD.

This was exactly what I was looking for. It's well made and simple to use. The remotes range is unbelievable. From within my house I can turn on/off and dim my string lights at approximately 200 feet away! I will be buying more of these for sure.

Initially I was so happy with this device and it worked flawlessly for 2 1/2 months. Great options on dimming and timer selection. It was even plugged in to our string lights inside a closed dry storage area, fully protected from the weather. Well, it worked as usual last night, but when I went to turn the lights on tonight it was dead as a door nail. Changed battery in the remote - NOTHING, NADA, ZIP!!!😡 Do not waste your money - unless you don’t mind spending around $25 for something that will work for less than 3 months! What a piece of junk!!!

I bought this for some LED string lights and it's been great. The remote works from inside my house and it let me dial down the brightness to a nice soft glow. I like that I can turn them on in the evening and set a timer for them to switch off later if desired. I thought it stopped working after about a month (the remote wouldn't turn off the lights, I had to unplug them) and when I contacted the seller, she was VERY responsive and got a replacement sent right away. Well, when I plugged it back in, it's been fine. So I think it might have been a power issue at my house (like a surge or brown-out). So, just a note, if the remote doesn't seem to work, unplug it from the outlet and plug it back in and that should reset everything. I felt like an idiot for not trying that first, but the seller graciously let me keep the replacement since I didn't realize it was working until the day the replacement arrived. It's been fully exposed on my deck outside through lots of heavy rain. Very pleased!

Works as advertised, have been set up for a month outside all weather. Remote just cheap plastic, not as solid a build as had hoped. But works well good range and all functions work well.

100% is very bright - you can easily read.The brightness decreases to 75%, 50%, 25%.There are +-buttons to navigate between the settings.25%-- is very dim.Perfect for my outdoor led edison lights!
