Just installed this unit in my yard next to the porch. Nice options for the stake length. It has a spring-loaded rain door so everything stays dry. (nice feature) If you have a couple of 90* plug ends it would be helpful when using this unit for the bottom 2 receptacles....but not a necessity. BUYER NOTICE: This will only link up to a 2.4GHz WiFi signal. I glazed over that portion of the directions and failed the first two attempts. Realized what I did and then it hooked right up when I made the correction. I'll update my review after this Christmas season is over. But, for now I'm excited to have my Christmas lights controllable from my phone!!

If the plugs are the standard tiny Christmas plugs you will be fine, but anything larger or shaped different, this won't work. I ended up having to plug everything into a multiplug, plug that plug into this and place the multi in a waterproof box, just to get everything to work. Plug size is important. This is not very accommodating to odd sized or shaped plugs.

This thing does what it says, but not well. It's smaller (narrower) than expected; fits in a small space but the outlets are close together. I have one oversized plug and it covers several others. The ground stake is about as cheap plastic as you can get, and I fear would break on insertion into soft ground. It would never make it into hard dirt. The covers for plugs are flimsy, too, and the bottom piece falls off a bit and the plug door cover doesn't want to stay closed when using multiple plugs. Finally, the on/off/dusk-dawn (for which I bought it). Works well but if you switch OFF the power and then back ON (after dark), while the settings will hold, the lights won't come back on for about 30 seconds, so you aren't sure if it's working right away. I have a master power switch and when I turn it on after dark I have to wait for lights to activate. All that said, it does what it's supposed to and time will tell if it will hold up. As long as no one or anything disturbs it, I think it will hold up, but dang the plastic is flimsy. Oh and there's a 6-8 inch extension piece for the unit to raise it off the ground which I like.

Does the trick for outdoor decorations. Very heavy duty and is waterproof.

I got these for out outdoor inflatable decorations. I got 2 of them. The timer on both of them only lasted a couple of days. The plugs still work fine so I will continue to use them for that but that was not the reason I bought them. Would not recommend for the timer purpose

Funciona bien mientras funciono, después de dos meses y medio dejo de funcionar. La hora comenzó a moverse, a veces si se le quedaba fija la hora y funcionaba bien para encender pero ya no apagaba. El temporizador lo tengo instalado en el jardÃn porque se supone que es para exterior.

Overall the pick works for what it's designed for. The only thing is if you use spotlights and inflatables and other not traditional lights the box is likely to not close. The plus need to be small and short if you want the box to close. Keep that in mind. Ours stays open but seems to work fine. It'd be useful if the box was deeper and if the plus were spaced more widely apart. The timer options are useful although no one would need 20 different timer options. I rather a more functional box itself.

I use it for the Christmas season and it's great! It's easy to use / set up, and has enough outlets for all of our outdoors decorations.
