Great price and functionality! I travel a lot so I don’t have time to be watering the lawn in summer months. I’ve had 2 of these for over a year now, and the only complaint I have is the screen is going bad in one because it has been in direct sunlight for over a year. But that’s easily solved by making sure it’s facing away from the sun or putting it on a facet in the shade… or maybe taping over the screen? It’s set-and-forget anyway, so only really need to look a the screen a couple times a year.Also, 2 AA batteries only need replaced about once a year.

This is my first timer. It was easy to program and has been working wonderfully. The only struggle I had was the getting it perfectly aligned on the faucet… it’s hard to explain but it took some doing to get it on correctly!

Those of us that like to garden every year can have several garden "patches' going on during the season. Here in the Southwest, missing a day of watering can be (literally) fatal to an entire patch of tomatoes or almost any other crop. I've used this model of Timer for several years and it is 100% dependable. It can deliver water daily or set up for any number of days and will run for any amount of time wanted. I have used them with a sprinkler as well as several small garden irrigation systems. The timer will operate for an entire season plus on just two AA batteries; expect a long lifetime. Set Up is very easy and so is the price.

Works great UNLESS you want to switch to MANUAL mode for using your hose between programmed times. Setting the number of minutes for watering in MANUAL mode starts out at one and is a button press for each additional minute: 29 button presses to get 30 minutes plus at least three more different button presses in the proper order to actually open the valve. My Orbit timer starts at 10 minutes and scrolls up quickly as you hold the button; then the valve opens after a few seconds -- with nothing more to it.

Programmed it, water kept in coming out after set time. Tried other ways but still kept on watering. I emailed support but didn’t get a reply
