The original hasp on my resin shed snapped in two, and this was used to replace it. This appears much more solid than the original, and it has held up for months now. Needed a little persuasion to install by tapping into the slot with a mallet, but it did fit perfectly and is not loose.

My tall tool shed is pretty old, maybe 20 years or more and the hasp piece broke off. This was inexpensive and worth a try. No tools needed. Just press in the unit into the existing slot and it was snug enough to hold in place with drilling or adhesive.

It fit perfectly in my shed opening and provided exactly what I wanted. I’m glad I went with this option which saved me money compared to most other solutions out there

I have a Rubbermaid tall shed, model 079K, and yes, these were a little bit smaller than the original, but not much different. It popped right in and worked great. Couldn’t be happier!

Our old original shed latch broke after 15 years. What to do? After finding this on Amazon, figured we'd give it a try. Perfect! We had to use a "C-clamp" to gently work the new one into the slot....first pressure the top then pressure the bottom...back and forth. Perfect! Hoping our other shed latch doesn't break, but if it does, we know what to do! Highly recommend!
