So we have used this in colder weather, watching our son play outdoor soccer. We'll last night it rained and snowed pretty much sideways. We put this around us almost like a wind block. It not only kept us warm, but blocked the wind, the rain and snow amd didn't get through the fabric.Amazing.Think I'm going to order a second one and see if they can snap together to make a larger one. Lol. Wrap around 2 people. It covered both of us standing next to one another.If not, then we will both have one.Wish it came with a bag. But not complaining. Was a lifesaver.

I have a small collection of camping blankets that I used for different things. Most of them are "sleeping bag" material on both sides...lovely against the skin and plenty warm, but they are very slippery. I wanted a blanket that was sleeping bag fabric on one side but fleece on the other, to use over my sleeping bag on those super cold nights out camping. My existing blankets slid around and found their way off of the sleeping bag within minutes.This blanket not only has the fleece on one side which makes it stay on top of the sleeping bag, but it also has a fairly stiff shape. It holds it's shape on top of my sleeping bag which is super nice. This blanket isn't cushy and plush and soft, it is functional, warm and will do it's job without fuss. I like that about it very much.The blanket has several string loops on one side and a fastener on the other end of the same side. I tried to "wear" the blanket around my shoulders and it was not comfortable for that. I am 5'7" tall and the corners drug on the ground when I had it wrapped around my shoulder. So I won't be using this feature. BUT...that big size means that it's perfect for what I got it for...bedding.This blanket is surprisingly well made. It's the nicest one that I have in that way.I got the "purple" one. It's exactly as shown on the website...more of a periwinkle blue/purple rather than a true "collegiate" purple. It's beautiful.If you are looking for a blanket for outdoor camping, picnics, outdoor sport games etc, I would definitely recommend this one. If you want something to wear around your shoulders to keep you warm, you might want to consider something else.

This has been my favorite camping/picnic blanket. One side is very comfortable and that’s the side. I like to sleep with when I’m Eno camping. And one side is silky that’s a side I like to have picnics on because when there’s small spills or food you can easily wipe it off with a damp cloth, and it will dry very quickly, and honestly this is not too hard to get back in. I always hate things like this because I feel like they take forever to put back in but this one is not. It’s great also because it has buttons to clip it very different from a sleeping bag where when you start folding it it comes apart. This is not like that at all. Because of the buttons you button them up and you can easily slip it back inside it’s cover Easily, the best camping/outdoors bag, blanket I have received.

nice big warm blanket that is mostly waterproof. Will need a new coat of scotchguard soon i 'd think.downside is that they have made some clips to roll and secure it, but its very difficult to understand which way to roll it to take advantage of the clips

If you camp often, this is a great general purpose blanket. It will keep you warm as a blanket, and makes a excellent ground blanket, due to one side being water resistant.

Nice and lightweight but extremely warm. He loves it. Uses it for a bal let in his recliner!! I was shocked because he’s kind of picky and didn’t know if he would like it. He surprised me!! I washed it and came out perfect. Love It!!!
