This is a complete package. Comes with a deep 4 inch two gang steel box with plenty of knock outs and a ground pigtail. Two duplex receptacles, raised steel cover, and all of the nuts and bolts to mount the receptacles to the cover and the cover to the box. The receptacles are high quality 20 amp rated. I use this as a multi-outlet work box wired to to a 12g extension cord for use around the shop. Would work fine for adding a box somewhere as a old work box and probably could be used for new work but fastening it might be challenging. It's a little odd that the receptacles are tamper-resistant...it's not something typically used in this kind of application. All-in-all a good package if you want everything in a kit as opposed to purchasing all of the parts separately.

Suggest to never purchase a tamper resistant outlet. They do "break in" and become usable after extreme force. I shut the breaker off and used a small screwdriver tapping the outlet to "break it in" Its impossible to simply plug in anything when these are new. Suggest attempting a plugin before installation. Outlets are now usable and hopefully this is helpful to others that don't realize the pain these outlets cause. Wiring a basement and kids are grown. No need for tamper resistant outlets in my application. Hopefully amazon puts the same package together without the tamper resistant outlets.

Ordered nine boxes, only three included the ground wire and screw. Otherwise appears to be good quality. Looks like the outlets attach to the cover, not the box, and you need to break off the outlet tabs to fit to cover.

If you're looking to add some outlets in a garage or basement, this convenient kit has everything you need (except wire nuts, a cable clamp and cable) If you don't feel like shopping around and dealing with items arriving on different days and whatnot, this is an option, however, at $30.12 there is a significant premium associated with that convenience.Mine came with name brand stuff, Raco metal box. The listing doesn't specify a brand however. At the end of the day, any steel box will do.

This was very easy to assemble all you need is the romex connector, cord & male plug end and you have a nice multi plug cord. With this you are able to plug in multiple tools at the same time which saves time from having to plug/unplug your tools to power them up if you only had one outlet to plug your tools in. The box and cover are solid and will hold up to a good beating if they are neglected whereas some of those plastic multi plug in cords wouldn't be able to handle extreme conditions and would crack.

Everything included is of good quality and on par with my local supply. The box and outlets are UL listed. Outlets have breakaways if you intend to switch the top or bottom independently. For the price point and included quality you can't go wrong. I will be getting a couple more of these just to have on hand for another upcoming project. Overall very pleased with the kit.

This outlet box kit is good value complete kit ready to be installed without need to be looking for anything else. The quality is good up to standard. If you are experienced you can easily install it yourself. Good purchase and I will be recommending this kit.
