They worked for what I needed. Was a little hard to slide thing into them at first but once you got a corner popped you were good.

I've been searching for a way to store some magazine pages/articles, without needing to keep the tall stack of magazines that they came from. These pages are an unusually tall and wide size, and it's been hard to find a solution for them.These binding bars did the trick! They survived shipping and the pages slid in easily.Only one drawback: You can't cut the bars to shorten. They're a bit longer than I needed, but both scissors and an X-acto knife failed to cut without causing the whole piece to crack down the side. Don't buy this if you're planning to chop them smaller. But otherwise, they work well!

Well made, none cracked I thought it quite odd that the original set only came with 1/2 the number of slides needed.

Pros: The strips are sturdy and do their job.Cons: way too long! I had to cut off about a half inch to get them to fit an 8 x 11 packet.
