Read 'STOP' instruction to burn off stove's factory residue before first use. And I might add, drag an extention cord out so you can do this 'not in kitchen' The smell was awful but now that is completed the stove is performiong without a hitch. I purchased to use as a warmer for borosilicate coffee carafe and kept below '1' checked with candy thermometer and is about 175 F Internal thermostat will cycle 'On-Off' when chosen setting is acheived. Great little hot plate and as most will do, be able to actually cook with this thing!

Works great and I really couldn’t tell the difference in cooking time between this portable unit and my free standing range with infra red burners. I’d like to do a real test soon to see how much time each unit takes to boil a pot of water. It’s super lightweight and looks durable with stainless steel top and has simple good quality dial buttons to set the temps. I used a spare metal table I had and I lined it with aluminum foil for this cooktop to sit on it’s great. Cord is long enough for a standard kitchen wall outlet. Overall I love it!

Heats quickly and evenly. Perfect portable single burner to boil water, cook eggs or to keep food warm for a holiday dinner. We had a issue with the indicator light which the manufacturer quickly addressed, replacing the unit within 10 days of contacting customer service. Highly recommend.

Bought this single burner for our boat for when we are hooked to power in marinas. I was a bit skeptical at first after reading some of the reviews, but decided to get it anyway as it was exactly what I was looking for. I was pleasantly surprised. It works great. Was able to boil water for pasta, also made scrambled eggs, we cooked steaks too when our on-board BBQ pooped out and cooked salmon steaks the next day. This burner worked beautifully. Hoping it will keep working well, it is small and compact, heats up fast, but stays hot for quite a while so I agree that you have to be super careful after cooking!

Cuidándolos bien duran muchÃsimo. La nuestra trabaja al 100%. En un año de trabajo, solo ha presentado desgastes en dos contactos internos por el exceso de calor, por lo demás son muy buenas hornillas.

Si necesitas una parrilla donde no haya gas o sea más complicado ponerlo, esta parrilla es superior a las comunes eléctricas de resistencia, calienta mejor alcaza inclusive a levantar la presion de una olla express, es más estable su temperatura, es mucho más fácil de limpiar pues su resistencia está bajo el 'vidrio' y la apariencia es de calidad. Ya tengo más o menos un año de uso frecuente con ella, que es más de lo que duran las más básicas. En resumen por poco dinero más un mucho mejor electrodoméstico. Vuelvo a comprar 10/10

Si quieres tener una parrilla eléctrica que pueda ayudarte a cocinar a una temperatura determinada, es una buena opción, hay que recordar que una de gás serÃa mejor para ciertas cosas, pero es muy buena cuando no tienes una de esas o rentas. Es portatil, facil de usar y se me hace que es un buen precio, se siene de calidad. La parrilla si viene como en la imagen.
