This feeder is amazing. It is really big, it holds a BIG bag of feed (50 lbs), though I mix their grain with other stuff first. But the big opening at the top makes it really easy to refill. The openings for feeding are inside the body of the feeder, so rain does not get in easily. Poop cannot get onto the food since it is inside. It works really well to keep their food clean, dry and with no bugs. I recommend it.

This feeder is great! Easy to fill, keeps my birds from popping in their feeder, which is a problem with some feeders. We are also busy and know that my birds are well fed for days. Easy to clean as well. Definitely worth the money.

Love this thing. Easy to fill. Holds plenty of feed. Very stable. Keeps the feed dry. Best thing about it is the chickens can't scatter their feed all over the run. Saves feed and effort. Now I can go on vacation for 4-5 days and not have to depend on anyone to tend the chickens while I'm gone fishing.

Feed is expensive. My hens waste a lot of it. I've tried all sorts of feeders... hanging, treadle, etc.My coop now is completely rodent proof, so I didn't choose this based on rodent proofing, though it is clear there is no way to rodent proof this feeder if you have rodents that can access it.Mine is completely shielded from the rain so I can't comment on any moisture issues.50 pounds is a lot of feed. My hens took to it right way. Then they made a small mess. So I raised it around 4 inches and the mess decreased a lot. I still might try to put in a metal mesh into each feeding hole to decrease more waste. Overall though, it has been a success.

I bought one of these for my chickens and duck because the smaller feeders we were using needed to be filled each day and were subject to the elements. I was tired of food getting moldy when the weather was rainy or humid, also.This feeder holds a full bag of feed and has nice, wide openings for the birds to eat through, which is great for my duck. I have the feeder sitting on a paver to protect against possible dampness. I recommend having it under something in case it rains, because it's plastic and I think condensation could occur if it was left in the elements. I love this thing and ended up buying a second one. Highly recommend.

This feeder is working as described. It eliminates the feed waste and mess. It is made of a durable plastic, but as we all know, it is definitely not indistructable, and if given the opportunity rats could chew through it. Would love to find this design made of metal!! But until then, this feeder I give a 5 star.

Sturdy feeding unit, looks nice, holds a full bag of feed.The ‘bowls’ are a bit too open. There is a bit of waste because of that.The lid does not attach securely, but ai put a large rock on top of it and that works.I would recommend this, but DO NOT buy the matching waterer. It’s rubbish.
