Well it worked as should for almost 3 years then started dripping wouldn't turn completely off without dripping. I'm thinking I'll get a Woodford next time. I believe they'll probably last better

Although the hydrand was described as 1", the inlet is 3/4" and the outlet is 1/2" (although a 1/2" npt x 3/4" water hose bushing was provided). The 1" extension is required to accommodate the 7/16" actuator rod. Although understandable, knowing the inlet and outlet connection sizes would help. Otherwise, everything was great.

I have bought several of these over the years... I like them because they are reliable and do not leak all over the place like many of the other brands. They are always easy to operate and have the capability to be locked in case they are in an area where some people have the problem of water theft. I will continue to buy these as long as they stay as reliable as they have been to date.I would recommend this item to anyone who needs a hydrant away from any buildings,

I have an old campbell that has been in service for 23 years, i have tried the others that may last 2 years. yep folks proof is in the name. very good.
