Owner makes great hooks, especially if you're fishing weeds, cover, anything that needs a strong, heavy hook. The centering spring is great for baits like Senkos, Flukes, swimbaits, basically any plastic that would normally use an offset hook. One minor issue: Sometimes the centering pin gets in the way when I'm trying to tie it on my line, especially 15-20 pound mono. I can live with it.

No more baits slipping down the hook. I use these all the time for Texas rigged creature baits.

I usually use mustard hooks but I needed some quick hooks for a fishing trip I had. Ordered these and was impressed. I mainly used these to Texas right a weightless senko. After awhile the tip did start ripping because of the metal wire you screw into the senko.

Owner hooks are consistently the best I've ever used for largemouth bass fishing in terms of utility of design and quality of materials. The points retain sharpness for an incredible number of catches under harsh conditions, the gauge of the light hooks is strong while thin enough not to damage slimmer soft plastic lures, and the twist lock keeps those soft plastic lures at the hook's eye without slippage.

So far I have had hook ups every time I have set the hook with a fluke and I have not lost a fish yet.
