Great to separate the Yokes.Just that the (openings where the egg flows out) may be a bit sharp for the Egg Yoke and can break it).So be careful if you swish it around! I like that it can hang off the edge of a container to drip out, a main reason I purchased it. Dishwasher safe top rack ..and available on Amazon !!

Perfect design. Fits over the pag and has a slot for cracking the shells. Results in less spillage and less shell in the pan. Recommend for every day use.

Well made. Easy to use and clean. Takes up little space in a drawer. Fits the rims of my mixing bowls + the thin rim of my cocktail shaker. The egg cracking edge worked very well, too. I bought it for mixing whiskey sours where I could crack the egg and separate the whites from the yolk right into the shaker. My 1st try let the yolk pass through the strainer and contaminate all the ingredients. I had to start over. The 2nd time I separated the yolk first, just in case. The yolk stayed in the separator. If it had worked the first time I would be rating this 5 stars. Makes a nice addition to my bar tools!

This product by OXO works easy to seperate eqq whites, OXO put a lot of thought into the item and material Highly recommmend if you seperate eqq white a lot for cooking

Maybe there's something unique about my situation, as my egg sizes probably vary more than a commercial egg. I find that the yolk very often slips out the side. It could be a lack of experience working with this on my part but it didn't work as well as I'd hoped.

This little gadget is do handy! I wish I bought it years ago. I used to make the biggest messes no matter how I tried cracking an egg but not anymore. I haven't tried out the area that seperates the yolk & white but the egg cracker ledge works amazing! Easy to clean, hooks on side of bowl, would make a great gift.

For an inexpensive, cute little plastic gadget, this works surprisingly well! It does a great job of separating yolks from whites, keeps any bits of broken peel out of the whites, and has a handy lip so you can sit it on the edge of your bowl and have two hands free to crack your eggs. I'm impressed with the simplicity, ease of use, and results. Nice to purchase something that does exactly what it's supposed to do!
