I bought this holder to keep at work. I usually microwave my lunch and I needed something to handle the heated container as I carry my lunch back to my office.I wasnt looking for fancy. Just something that could do the job and last a while.This holder is well made. The material will certainly withstand a good wash. The grips do their job. And it's simple and just black. Will not attract much attention.I'm always glad I have it when I pull the hot containers from the microwave.It's a good buy.

In addition to being both large and heat resistant, these are nice looking. They provide excellent grip for items being removed from the oven.

These are good quality, but difficult to use. They are not as flexible as other ones, and it is difficult to fit your hand into the slot (difficult might be a strong word, it just takes a second). I wouldn't buy them again, but they aren't terrible. They are cute, and a nice color.

I purchased 2 pot holders to use daily and I haven't been disappointed. The dual sides are truly singular design - one side is silicone and the other a comfortable hand pocket in which your hand slips into to securely/safely grab anything quite hot, especially pots/lids. I've even used these versatile pot holders to grab hot plates/bowls from the microwave. Great grip without the slipperiness of other silicone holders. The bit of lining inside the holder on the non-grip side helps keep the back of the hand protected in the oven.

I bought this pot holder because America's Test Kitchen recommended it. I found it to be kind of awkward to use because my hand slips around inside the pocket. The surface itself is heat resistant, but it's also slippery and I'm always afraid I will lose my grip on the hot item. I would not buy this product again.

I got these to replace the first pair of Oxo pot holders I bought years ago. The first pair have been my favorites for years and were simply worn out from use, so when I saw these I quickly ordered a pair. While they look the same, they are much flimsier... the fabric is thinner (making them a lot less heat-resistant) and the construction of them seems much lower quality. I will use them for the time being, but the search for good pot holders unfortunately continues.

Loved this oven mitt until the second wash when the seam came apart. Followed up with Oxo - USA very helpful but referred me to Oxo in Canada. After a couple of months and a followup...zero response from Oxo Canada. Coming apart at the seam + zero response from Oxo Canada = one star.
