This is the perfect peeler. I wish I brought it years ago. The blade is excellent quality - peels smooth like butter, no friction, fast, minimal waste. The eyer removes unwanted blemishes so easily. The grip is exactly what you want when dealing with juicy fruits or watery veggies - nonslip, super grippy, ergonomic, comfortable and compact. The little gills nook for your thumb and forefingers gives even better, maximum grip and comfort. Easy to clean. There's not a better peeler you can find, in my opinion.

As a Lefty, using right handed tools and kitchen utensils is normal, but sometimes uncomfortable. I saw this item while looking for a different tool. Right away I read 'Lefty Compatible', plus it was made by Oxo. I have some of their other utensils, which have worked well for me. When I opened the package, I had to try it out. I got a carrot and started peeling. It wouldn't peel unless I pushed hard... I'm thinking- well this is going back... Then I noticed the plastic blade guard. Once removed, I could peel effortlessly with the very sharp blades. I am very happy with this product.
